Zoraida Martinez co-leads the Finance Subcommittee for PeerFest 2024 and joined the planning committee in 2019. She is a Mental Health Peer Specialist and a Personal Medicine Coach from McAllen, Texas. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Pan American and worked in administration as Chief Financial Officer of McCreery Aviation. Later, she changed direction to focus on her health, well-being, and family. She has worked on a warmline for the Hope Family Clinic for four years. Zoraida also works with the Prosumers International chapter in the Rio Grande Valley. She is passionate about listening to others and providing support for peers. When not working, Zoraida practices self-care walking on the beach, nature trails, and has recently learned to swim. She has focused on her health recently but still plans to skydive next year. She understands recovery is possible and life is anything you can dream.
