Tammy Heinz

Tammy Heinz, MS, WRAP ALF, is a senior program officer and consumer & family liaison who has been with the Hogg Foundation for Mental Health for over 15 years. She brings her lived experience with mental health challenges, recovery, resiliency, and well-being to the work of the foundation’s strategic planning, grant making, communication, programming, operations, and policy work. Tammy developed and leads the Hogg Foundation project known as PeerFest. She is passionate about mental health, inclusion, and acknowledging & sharing power. Tammy is driven to share hope, recovery, and resiliency, specifically for her peers managing mental health challenges daily while on the journey to living their best lives. Her daily wellness plan includes practicing “assuming goodwill” and “unconditional high regard for others”, yoga, eating responsibly & well, accomplishing small tasks, petting her cats, and spending time or talking with loved ones. Loving and supporting her children Greyson & Delilah, is her highest purpose in life.
