Jim Lemon

Jim Lemon, ALWF, CPS serves on the PeerFest 2024 Planning Committee and co-leads the Workshops Subcommittee. He feels privileged by the opportunity to recruit peer workshop presenters who have shown the ability to live in active recovery while facilitating the wellness of others. Jim also served on the PeerFest 2016 Planning Committee. He facilitates training opportunities in the peer recovery realm: Wellness Recovery Action Planning (WRAP) Seminars 1 and 2, and the Respect Institute. He coordinates several community vegetable gardens, is a prolific builder of hexagonal structures and a dedicated scavenger of firewood for his off-the-grid household near Nacogdoches, TX. In addition, custom homebuilding, turning wooden bowls, building boxes for raised bed gardening, creating art to reflect his internal healing journey and the crafting of cedar wellness tool boxes in a workshop setting have all served as strategies for Jim in maintaining wellness.
